MALAYSIA LNG (MLNG)

A PETRONAS subsidiary

The MLNG Dua plant facility is part of Malaysia's PETRONAS LNG Complex located in Bintulu, Sarawak. The LNG Complex comprises MLNG Satu (completed in 1983), MLNG Dua (1995) and MLNG Tiga (2003) plants. The MLNG Satu and MLNG Dua plant facilities, each comprising three independent process trains, are capable of delivering 7.6 and 7.8 million metric tons per annum (mtpa) of LNG, respectively. The expansion of the complex in 2003 with MLNG Tiga added two more trains, bringing the total capacity to about 23 million mtpa. The three plants are being operated as one integrated site, which is currently the world's largest LNG producer at a single location

BURJ DUBAI, tallest building in the world, trusts FSI filtration & flow control products.

Dubai’s external temperature can reach up to 50 degrees Celsius (122 Fahrenheit), making the cooling requirements of Burj Dubai a critical task. At the peak of cooling times, the tower will require approximately 10,000 tons of cooling per hour which is equivalent to the capacity of 10,000 tons (22.4 million lbs) of melting ice one day.

FSI strainers and suction diffusers met the high standards of the building’s approval consultants, and will be used to help control the flow of chilled water of Burj Dubai, where systems that give as much as 10,000 tons of cooling per hour are essential. FSI products will also be used in three external cooling plants that deliver chilled water to Burj Dubai and surrounding buildings. The strainers and suction diffusers will assure  that there is proper water flow in the building (an average of 946,000 liters of water per day will be passed through the tower’s water system). Being flow control products supplier to the tower is the culmination of a joint effort with Flow Tools Middle East, FSI's main distributor in Dubai.

FlowTools's diligence in advocating FSI proved successful. The tender was awarded in June 2007 by TRANSGULF for several large size of strainers, which was supplied in early October and being commissioned now.

This project exemplifies FSI's participation in the global industry by underscoring the company’s relevance to the industry, our knowledgeable and prompt service, as well as the utility of our products.

Burj Dubai, Arabic for Dubai Tower, currently stands at 555.3 meters, surpassing Toronto’s CN Tower by approximately 2 meters to become the tallest free-standing building in the world. It is part of a 2 km² (0.8 sq mi) development called “Downtown Dubai”. It is scheduled for occupancy in 2009.

The two plants will link with the approximately 15 km of main header piping system that runs around the Palm Trunk, connecting the development’s hotels and apartment blocks.

Again we were trusted by these leading district cooling technology companies to supply all flow control strainers and pump suction diffusers to this project. FSI successfully completed the supplies of the equipment in early 2007.

Now major contractors and consultants involved MEP projects in the middle East recognizes FSI's outstanding service of providing filtration and flow control solutions.
